La mécanique des fluides est une branche essentielle de la physique qui étudie le comportement des liquides et des gaz en mouvement ou au repos. Dans ce chapitre, nous introduirons les grandeurs caractéristiques des fluides, telles que la pression, la densité et le débit, et nous établirons les principes fondamentaux régissant leur dynamique. Nous étudierons notamment l’équations et d’Archimède, essentielles pour comprendre la statique des fluides, ainsi que l’équation de Bernoulli, qui relie pression, vitesse et altitude dans l’écoulement d’un fluide. Nous verrons également comment la loi de la conservation du débit permet de décrire l’écoulement dans des conduits de différentes sections.
