L’étude du mouvement d’un corps dans un champ électrostatique uniforme permet de comprendre comment une particule chargée évolue sous l’effet d’une force électrique constante. Dans ce chapitre, nous commencerons par établir les démonstrations fondamentales reliant la force électrique F⃗=qE⃗\vec{F} = q \vec{E} à l’accélération du corps en appliquant la seconde loi de Newton. Nous analyserons différents cas, notamment le mouvement d’une charge dans un champ uniforme parallèle ou perpendiculaire à sa vitesse initiale, ce qui nous permettra d’étudier des trajectoires rectilignes et paraboliques similaires à celles observées en mécanique dans un champ de pesanteur.
